Jeff Weaver was born in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1953. He began painting and drawing the waterfronts of Boston and Cape Ann when he was only fifteen. He graduated from the Boston Museum School, and then moved to Gloucester in 1972, where he built a career on painting the surrounding nature.
His work has been shown at the North Shore Arts Association, Rockport Art Association, and Ogunquit Art Association. He has won numerous awards including the the North Shore Art Association’s 2003 Driscoll Award and the Aldro Hibbard Memorial Award; 2005 Best in Show Rockport Art Association; and 2005 Gloucester Historic Commission Preservation Award, and has sold out shows in Cambridge and the Boston area.
